This is childcare that is Faith-based, child-centred, culturally sensitive, community-focused and trauma-informed. Khala KaMwana - meaning "Remain a Child" in Chichewa- is inspired by the widely known view that it takes a village to raise a child. In the absence of true community, KMCC aims to fill the gap with loving, intentional and personalised care that honours and embraces each child's unique identity and story. We create a space where children are free to explore, express themselves and evolve.
KMCC was created to support both parents and their children by approaching childcare through a holistic lens - prioritising the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual well-being of your family. At KMCC we don't just watch or supervise your children, rather we intentionally work to create environments that stimulate their curious minds, fuel their growing bodies and care for the individual they are becoming. We also provide conscious, compassionate and informed care to children who are differently-abled, neurodivergent or may have learning difficulties. THrough personalized routines, emotional regulation, imaginative play and age-appropriate education, we hope to join you in shaping, caring for and loving your little ones. We hope to be part of your village both now and your little ones grow into the individuals God made them to be.
Here, your child is safe to remain a child - curious, bold, joyful, and fully themselves - for as long as they need.

Need a trustworthy babysitter for everyday support? Khala KaMwana Essentials offers safe, heart-centered basic care for children aged 12 months to 15 years — right in the comfort of your home.
This service focuses on gentle supervision and structured play, ideal for parents who need someone present, attentive, and nurturing while they're working, resting, or out for the evening.

KMCC+ Grow & Educate💕
Looking for more than basic supervision? The KMCC + Grow & Educate offers intentional, structured care that nurtures your child’s emotional, cognitive, and creative development — all while keeping them safe and supported at home.
This tier is tailored for school-age children who need one-on-one educational support; perfect for daycare-alternative parents who want to keep their little ones at home a little longer; and parents who are interested in homeschooling. The Grow + educate tier is for parents who want to encourage social exposure, education and the formation of valuable skills without sacrificing their time with the kids at home. As we know, it goes by so fast.

Need more than childcare — KMCC+ Holistic care provides highly individualised, relational childcare that integrates all our service tiers. Transcending basic childcare, the holistic care plan is designed for families who want deep, ongoing support for children navigating complex needs, emotional challenges, transitional life changes or all of the above.
The SK Holistic care plan is our signature because it covers all aspects of childcare for your child - Combining educational stimulation, emotional regulation, faith-based teaching, and intentionally responsive care. It grows, adjusts and learns as they grow, making it completely customizable and optimal for your child to navigate through their life.
